Jimmy Silow , guitar and backing vocals

1966 I joined as a solo guitarist a basement band in Kristianstad. We played R&B material by for example Young Rascals, Yardbirds and Zombies. Later we started playing songs by Cream, Hendrix, Crazy world of Arthur Brown and Grateful Dead.

In the autumn 1968 I became member of the Peps Bluesband. I stayed until the summer 1969 when I, together with some musician friends formed a so called “power trio” playing music by among others Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and others. Occasionally I went on performing with Peps until 1971.

In the autumn 1971 I joined Flavoured Soul, a soul/jazz/rock group influenced by BST, Chicago and Buddy Miles. When this group collapsed in 1973 I went on playing with a cover band that did party gigs. During a period I also played with a more jazzy constellation, Revolver. Then it was a country band, Tractor. Some of the members in this band went on into Kvinnaböske Band. I also played big band jazz with Atle and funk with Jan Sigurd’s Kalebass.

During most of the eighties I played with the cover group but in 1988 I was persuaded into joining the Kvinnaböske Band as a guitar player. This went on until the summer of 1992. During the same period I also played with actor and performer Ulla Skoog in her stand up cabaret. During the eighties I was also member of Caesars Blues Band where one of the members was Ralph Svensson, later former of the Big Bang Group.

In the autumn of 2003 I joined Blue Strangers
